Ready.

In 10 days, I get to do what I've been waiting to do for three years. I am excited, yes, but the best word to describe my present state is READY. I feel that I have already been there. Over the past three years I have been getting to know the Acholi people, rejoicing and suffering alongside them, and taking in the beauty of their culture. And soon I get to see them face-to-face. It's my time. Planning this trip has been a doozy. Honestly, we're not even sure what we're doing when we get there. All I know is that the Lord is with us always, and just like in the days of Acts, the Holy Spirit will lead us and do crazy things through us and meet these people's crazy hunger for God. Thank You, Lord, for this beautiful gift.
